Weather Models

The Crop Weather Analysis Function on the STARGATE platform provides users with tools to monitor and manage key agricultural operations, including sowing, spraying, and soil trafficability.

The Settings panel has two main tabs:

  1. Details Tab:

    • Forecast Days: Set the number of days for weather forecasts (default: 7).

    • History Days: Set the number of past days’ weather data to display (default: 0).

    • ASL: Set the altitude above sea level.

    • Location: Shows the registered field name.

  2. Units Tab:

    • Precipitation: Choose units (mm or inches).

    • Wind Speed: Choose units (km/h, m/s, mph, Knots, Beaufort scale).

The Submit button saves these settings for sowing recommendations and weather monitoring.
